Recap: In Your Presence Salon Exhibition

A Night of Connection, Conversation, and Art

In Your Presence took place at Gallery 33, located at the ever-chic Georgian Hotel in Santa Monica. A night that unfolded with a quiet intensity, filled with art, conversation, and a palpable energy. The exhibition celebrated presence through intimate, small-scale works, and it was a privilege to be included alongside such a diverse and talented group of artists.

I had the piece Furry Glock in the show, which was a fitting addition to the dynamic mix of works on display. The piece, with its playful yet confrontational nature, became part of the larger conversation about how we present ourselves in the world and what it means to navigate identity and perception. It was amazing to witness how it sparked conversation and how the work, as a whole, invited such a range of reactions.

The space itself was charged with a sense of quiet discovery, where each piece seemed to pull you in a little closer. Conversations flowed naturally, from the personal to the profound, and the art spoke for itself. There was something about the night that felt effortless yet incredibly impactful—moments like these don’t need to be overstated, they simply exist in their own quiet way.
